This ramp is a variation to the traditional rubber threshold ramp featuring the new and unique  “glow in the dark” safety guidance strips. They can be placed vertically on both sides of the ramp to give guidance when approaching in the dark…. also an excellent “hi-vis” guide during the day. The strips are recessed into the ramp to give a flush finish to prevent a trip hazzard.

The glow strips are charged by absorbing light from various sourses such as the sun, fluorescent light, LED light and by natural daylight even when overcast.

The glow strips are weather resistant, impact resistant and uv resistsant. They have a life expectancy in excess of 10 years in normal outdoor environments. They will be fully charged in a short period of time, generally 10 to 20 minutes where a strong light souce is present – the stronger the light sourse, the better the glow duration. Once fully charged the strip can glow up to 14 hours.

A safe alternative where side wings may not be possible. Ideal for use in residential situations, aged care facilities, schools, community care locations – or just anywhere.
